Of course, there is one other constraint for true haiku – reference to the time/place/season . . . many people forget that – it does mean even more thought is necessary . . . . but I do love your postcards . . . .
I concur! A traditional haiku poses an added challenge, indeed, and I wouldn’t dare forget it. Though, as I mention in the “About” section, notable syllables deals in nontraditional whimsy. Artistic license, if you will. Nonetheless, I’m glad you found enjoyment!
